  • Paper kitchen towels
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • CPU thermal paste

  • Remove the fan connector from the fan header.
  • With your fingers, turn the push pins or with the screwdrivers counterclockwise 90 degrees to release them out.
  • Now pull up the push pins
  • Remove the fan from the processor
  • If you release the cooler, replace the previously applied thermal paste. 
  • Damp a small piece of tissue or cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol and remove the thermal paste
  • Wait for some time so that the alcohol should be dried and evaporated.
  • To the center of the processor, inject the thermal paste from the syringe 
  • Never apply new thermal paste on previously applied paste in the processor.
  • Turn out the push pins clockwise 90 degrees to reset them.
  • Reinstall the fan
  • Press the pug pin to secure them
  • From the fan header, plug up the fan connector
